Ms. Raitt is the spicy "Queen of Slide," no doubt.  She's been there, done that, and yet Bonnie still brings a healthy dose of pixie dust with her sashay.  Glad to hear this one, 'cause there's just never enough Bonnie to go 'round.  This is her 17th studio album. (NEED)


"I Like To Rock" - April Wine / "Harder ... Faster" (1979)

This was April Wine's eighth studio album.  I once compiled a list of my favorite "feel good" driving songs.  This song was pretty high up on the list. And who doesn't love the homage to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones on the fade-out?   Caught me at just the right time, too.  And after learning of the recent passing of the "other" quiet one...Charlie Watts, well....this song stands as just another reminder of all the rock-n-roll bands Charlie gave a little push.  You will always be the man, Charlie.  R.I.P. (OWN)

Fans will love it.  Whaddygonnado?  Mr. Starkey will forever get a pass.  He's the proud owner of one of those "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards.  I know.  If it wasn't him behind the mic...  But it is!  So just let it go.  We all love him...so let's just enjoy the moments while we can.  "Liverpool 8" is the 15th studio album from the Fab. (NEED)

The Association . From gentle psych pop spinneries that tease the mind...to the lush vocal and instrumental arrangements that melt the heart... The Association. The Association were all of these and none of these. Lead by co-founder Terry Kirkman, it was never an "either/or" about the music.  No pigeonhole here.  It was simply "all" about the music.  And having at least 3 of the most radio-played songs in history...I'd say The Association were on to something.
