Delicious Classic Rock from various eras...mostly 60's & 70's & 80's...but certainly not exclusively. JT's radio show is mainly controlled by the listeners...via call-ins and emails. With the majority requesting all-kinds of wonderful lost gems and deep cuts. You may recognize the rock artist playing...but be pleasantly surprised by the sometimes unfamiliar spin slammin' through your speakers. It's a rock fans treat. But let there be no doubt...it is Ol' JT that makes this 6 hour music party a winner. Maybe ...because he's a little bit different. He's down-to-earth. One of the guys. And real. A simple lover of RnR. None of the blowhardy wisecracken dime-a-dozen DJ's you mostly hear while flipping around the dial. No over-the-top buffoon laugh...

Now...I'm even MORE of a Rory Gallagher fan. Rory Gallagher ...an awesome blues/rocking troubadour...never gained the large fan recognition in the States that he had in Europe. Rory wasn't glamorous. Wasn't flash. And his stage was simple. But he played the guitar like he was in front of a sold-out stadium...regardless of the size of the venue. Wearing his standard...working man plaid shirt... Rory Gallagher , along with a wicked backing band, easily gave the crowd plenty of spitfire and adrenaline. Check out Rory's 1979 performance of "Shadowplay" in Montreux. The Kindle , for lack of a better definition...is an e-book reader on steroids. A plethora of positive reviews can be read at Amazon ...and I encourage you to do so. Books...Newspapers...Magazines...RSS Feeds can be downloaded wirelessly to your Kindle in less than a minute. I'm not exaggerating! Built-in Dictionary to instantly look up words that trip you. No more writing the word down to look up later. Very Nice! Easily highlight whatever your reading . Great for when finding an interesting thought or point. I'll watch the movie the first night...and all the added bonus features...the next. Bonus features...for the most part...are a crapshoot. The majority of DVD extras are merely pedestrian at best. A sad DVD trend...ad nauseum. However, occasionally the movie moguls get it right. Such is the case with legendary director Alfred Hitchcock's ---> "Psycho" (Collector's Edition) (1960) . I'll assume all have seen (or heard) of this classic thriller and skip the obvious props...and get right to the impressive bonus desserts. " Jethro Tull Here are a few music lover sites I enjoy and frequent regularly...and encourage you to check'em out. The Daily Vault is a great site for CD reviews. Most are extremely well written with specific songs they like/dislike and other great observations that make for good reading. The site is extremely easy to navigate and well-worth investigating. Setting The Woods On Fire is a nice blog with a slant toward country 'though certainly not restricted to that theme. It's always a pleasant surprise to see what music is flying his kite from post to post. Good stuff! There Stands The Glass is a wonderfully eclectic blog that hovers around jazz and blues ...but offers up terrific finds from all genres. Old and new. I've received quite a musical education Nice! "Torch of Total Coolness" to SNL . It was " Must-Watch" television at its best. Observations: Chevy Chase is gone from the cast...but makes a cameo. Still, no Bill Murray ...though he is mentioned as part of the cast. Guest Host Paul Simon famously sings 1st verse of "Still Crazy After All These Years" in a turkey costume. Paul Simon performs "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover". Paul Simon shyly introduces George Harrison and perform "Here Comes The Sun" & "Homeward Boun d"....

Little did we know that Lyndsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks would become household names. Respected by fans and peers alike. Once the duo joined Fleetwood Mac , their panned LP became something of a cult legend. A record that, at the least, was worthy of a double-take. Turns out...it wasn't bad at all. In fact, this little footnote of a record, easily deserved better than what the fickled fates allowed. My folks own this record. And from the looks of it...it appears to have been played a lot. When I was much younger, I remember seeing Michael Dunn for the first time...and he blew me away. Sure...he only stood 3'10", but he commanded the screen.
